Billy Sipes
October 27th, 2026

3rd District Magistrate
Billy Sipes is a lifelong resident of Flaherty, Kentucky, and a proud farmer, husband, and father who has spent his life working hard and serving the community and place he calls home in Meade County.
Growing up on a farm, Billy learned early the value of hard work, responsibility, honesty, and treating people with respect. Those same values continue to guide him today. As a farmer, Billy understands the importance of taking care of what you have, making thoughtful decisions, and being willing to put in the work to get the job done right.
Billy is committed to being a voice for the people of District 3 and believes local government should be accessible, responsible, and focused on the needs of its residents. He believes in listening to constituents, addressing concerns, continuing to improve our roads and infrastructure, and working together to make Meade County a better place to live, work, and raise a family.
When he isn’t working, he can often be found at his daughters’ pig shows, watching his son run derby cars, or getting in a little fishing whenever he can find time. Family, faith, and community are at the heart of who he is.
Billy is a Christian and a family man who believes that serving others is about more than holding a title—it’s about showing up, listening, and doing what is right.
Billy is proud to call Flaherty home and is honored to serve the people of District 3. He looks forward to continuing to work for his neighbors and the community he has loved his entire life by asking for your vote on November the 3rd.
